Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Tidlet ("we", "us") makes small software utilities, starting with DeskClean for macOS. You can reach us at hello@tidlet.com. These terms apply to our website, tidlet.com, and to any Tidlet app you download or buy.

2. Purchases and our merchant of record

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Dodo Payments handles payment, billing, invoicing and sales tax or VAT, and its own terms of sale also apply to your purchase. Your receipt and invoice come from Dodo Payments.

Prices are shown at checkout, may be converted to your local currency, and may include applicable taxes. DeskClean is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription.

3. Your license

• When you buy a Tidlet app, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it.
• Each license key activates the app on one Mac. Once a key is activated, it can't be activated on another Mac.
• If you replace or reset your Mac, email hello@tidlet.com with your order details and we'll look at moving your license.
• You may not resell, share, publish or redistribute license keys, or try to get around license checks.
• You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

4. Downloads

Anyone can download our apps from tidlet.com. An app does nothing until it's activated with a valid license key, so there's no free trial.

5. Updates and support

We may release updates that fix problems or add features. We'll help with questions and problems by email at hello@tidlet.com. We don't promise to support every macOS version forever. Each app lists the macOS versions it needs.

6. Your files

DeskClean moves files on your Mac according to its rules. It never deletes files, and you can undo its last clean. You're still responsible for keeping backups of anything important. We aren't responsible for files that are lost, misplaced or damaged while you use the app.

7. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short, within 14 days we refund apps that don't work on your Mac and that we can't fix, and we refund duplicate charges at any time. A refunded license key is turned off.

8. Disclaimer

Our software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Tidlet isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app that the claim relates to.

10. Ending your license

We may disable a license key that was obtained fraudulently, refunded, charged back, or shared in breach of these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top when we do. The version in effect when you bought a license applies to that purchase.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any consumer protections you have where you live.
