Privacy Policy

In short: our apps work on your Mac, and your files never leave it. When you activate a license, the app sends your key and your Mac's name to Dodo Payments to check it. We don't use analytics, ads or tracking cookies.
What our apps do with your files
DeskClean reads the names and types of the files on your Desktop and moves them into the folders you choose. This happens entirely on your Mac. We never see, upload or store your files, file names or folder contents.
DeskClean keeps a few small files in ~/Library/Application Support/DeskClean on your Mac: your sorting rules, a record of the last clean so you can undo it, and your license activation.
License activation
When you activate DeskClean, and about once a day after that, the app contacts Dodo Payments to check that your license is valid. It sends:
- your license key
- your Mac's name, as set in System Settings (for example "Alex's MacBook Pro"), so you can tell activations apart
- an activation ID that Dodo Payments created when you activated
The app sends nothing else. It doesn't collect usage statistics, crash reports or device identifiers.
Purchases
When you buy, Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, collects what it needs to process the payment and meet tax rules, such as your name, email address, billing country and payment details. We can see your name, email address, order details and license key so we can support you. We never see your full card details. Dodo Payments' own privacy policy covers how it handles your data.
Our website
tidlet.com is a static site hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like any web host, Google may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and operations. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it delivers them. The site may remember your light or dark mode choice in your browser's local storage, and that never leaves your browser.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and support you.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the services above, as they need it to work, or when the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep order and license records for as long as your license is active and as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your support emails at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to how it's used. Email hello@tidlet.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Our products aren't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so on this page.
